Energy crops

The special cultivation of energy crops is a market in which there are many developments. Fast-growing crops that can be harvested several times a year are not only interesting for agriculture but also for the user market. Biochemistry is very interested in larger volumes of the same product in order to use it as a replacement for fossil raw materials. Obviously, these raw materials should not compete with growing food, but current practice shows that they can coexist well. These crops can also be grown in areas where agriculture was not possible, which in turn creates employment for the local population.
