Food supply is obviously the top priority in agriculture. The more return you can get from one hectare, the better the revenue model. When harvesting or processing these products, a residual flow is always released. This will often be used as new nutrition for the soil, but these residual flows are also used to generate energy (biogas or electricity) or can be upgraded to new applications in biochemistry.

Because the market is constantly looking for new techniques to make even better use of residual flows from corn, sugar cane/beet and roadside grass, these flows will play a greater role in making the industry more sustainable.
