A lot is written about biomass and its use in industry. It is often about stopping the use of biomass or burning forests and has a great emotional charge. This is very frustrating for companies working in this sector because sustainable use of raw materials is the basis for everything that these companies and organizations have often stood for for decades. Reuse of residual flows from agriculture, waste collection and industry, preserving the biodiversity of forests and agriculture, the use of woody biomass or the cultivation of special crops for industry, must never be at the expense of nature, animals and food supplies.
The Biomass Facts Campaign exists thanks to the donations from various companies/organizations and was set up to tell an independent and fact-based story. We want to show that biomass includes more than just woody biomass and has many more applications than energy. We do not avoid the discussion, we make room for NGOs or other parties to respond and we seek connections between the different sides. Everyone is concerned about the climate and is looking for solutions, let's do this together and accelerate the process.
As a donor you will receive:
- Invitation to participate in the steering group meeting that takes place every quarter;
- Your company logo on the Biomass Facts website with direct reference to your website;
- You will have the opportunity to provide input and, together with the steering group, you are authorized to make joint decisions;
- Ability to present yourself via the website, events and social media campaigns.
What does Biomass Facts do with your donation?
All news is collected and published on our site every day, fact sheets are created or collected that you can use in your presentations, there are biweekly consultations with various parties to stay up to date and we present 'our' market to various parties.
Investments are also being made in creating content and clips with the aim of convincing people of the positive influence of biomass and highlighting advertisements on Biomass Facts' social media channels.
