On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, the Netherlands is organizing the NL Company Day during EUBCE 2026 in The Hague. Part of this day is a structured matchmaking program aimed at establishing new international contacts within the bioeconomy.
The event takes place at the World Forum and is part of the broader congress program, where more than 1.500 participants from over 60 countries are expected to gather. The NL Company Day is organized by Platform Bio-Economie and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, in collaboration with international partners.
Targeted networking within an international playing field
The matchmaking program offers participants the opportunity to schedule one-on-one meetings in advance with companies, knowledge institutions, and policymakers. Participants are matched based on profiles and interests, with the aim of facilitating substantive and goal-oriented conversations.
The setup aligns with the broader development within the bioeconomy, in which international cooperation plays an increasingly important role in scaling up and market development.
Focus on concrete collaboration
The matchmaking is aimed at realizing concrete collaborations and business development. Participants gain access to an international network and can make targeted appointments with relevant parties within their field.
According to the organizers, the emphasis is on the quality and relevance of the matches, as the number of available spots is limited. Timely registration is therefore recommended.
Participants in the matchmaking can register for access to the fair free of charge.
