As the days grow shorter and the festive lights come on, we look back on a year full of activity in the world of bioresources. We saw new initiatives blossom and established projects grow. It was heartening to see that knowledge sharing is effective. Increasingly, questions came from the sector and policymakers interested in how biomass contributes to clean energy and biobased materials.
As in previous years, we provided explanations and clarification of developments in the supply chain. We covered what digesters do, how certification works, and the role of residual flows from agriculture and forestry. We interspersed short pieces with clear definitions with background stories based on figures and practical experience.
Our thanks go to all the bloggers who shared their knowledge and experience with us this year. Their insightful articles made all the difference. We also cherish the conversations with practitioners who passionately shared their work with biomass, bioresources, and biochemistry. Their dedication brings a fossil-free future closer with concrete steps.
Our role remains the same. We provide independent, factual information. In 2026, we will continue to demonstrate how policy, technology, and practice converge, with concrete examples and figures.
On behalf of the Biomassafeiten.nl team, we thank you for reading, responding, and sharing. Your engagement makes this platform valuable. We wish everyone happy holidays and an inspiring start to 2026. Let's continue to build practical solutions together that make a difference, step by step, with an eye for facts and people.
With warm regards,
The Biomass Facts Team
