Answers to questions about letter to Parliament on evaluation of competitive advantage of aviation and maritime shipping and share of bio-based raw materials

State Secretary Heijnen (IenW) answers questions from the standing Senate Committee for Infrastructure, Water Management and the Environment. The committee had asked questions about the letter to Parliament dated December 15, 2022.

The letter to Parliament was about:

• the annual assessment of competitive advantage of aviation and shipping compared to other sectors in the renewable market
• energy for transport;
• the opinion of the Social-Economic Council (SER) on a basis for determining a fair share of bio-based raw materials.
