The future of bio raw materials in the Netherlands
Thursday March 2 | 12.00:18.00 noon – XNUMX:XNUMX pm | Green Chemistry Campus Bergen op Zoom
Thursday, March 2 is 'Green Energy Day', the day on which all green energy in the Netherlands has been consumed. We have been able to run entirely on green energy for two months now, which is largely due to the use of biomass.
However, on this day we want to look further: in addition to the energy transition, the raw materials transition will play a major role in the future. How are we going to green the Dutch economy, how are we going from fossil CO2 to biogenic CO2 and what is the role of bio raw materials in this. During this theme day we want to look at the use of bio raw materials from a broad perspective and discuss the possibilities & challenges.
The afternoon will focus on the current & future availability of bio-raw materials and the various applications in energy, fuels, chemicals and materials, among others.
