Every start of the year, EBN BV publishes the energy infographic for the Netherlands. EBN BV, the energy company of the Dutch government, lists the most important facts and figures about energy and the energy system.
The 7th edition is published in unprecedented times, which once again confirms how closely the Dutch energy system is intertwined with that of Europe and the rest of the world. That is why the 2023 infographic focuses on energy security and sustainability in the Netherlands and Europe.
Topics include energy demand, the origin and destination of energy, the available storage capacity and the dependence on imports for the coming decades. And of course greenhouse gas emissions.
With the infographic, EBN wants to contribute to ensuring that the dialogue about the energy transition is conducted on the basis of the correct facts and figures.
