Come to the Open Energy Day on Saturday, September 17! You can take a look at sustainable energy projects at dozens of locations. Are you also curious about the world behind your socket and thermostat?
Last year, almost fifty sustainable energy projects opened their doors during the first Open Energy Day to introduce people to their project.
This year there is, among other things, a bicycle tour along a smart green heating network.
The smart green heating network in Ede has 21.700 connected home equivalents and is supplied by three sustainable energy installations. The scale makes the sustainable grid suitable for additional sustainable sources. A heating network is green when it is supplied by (various) sustainable sources. Regional biofuels are a stable starting fuel that serves as a basis for other sources such as residual heat, collective solar heat, geothermal heat, energy from water or even a future heat source such as green hydrogen. When connecting these additional sources, bio-raw materials are only needed during peak demand in winter and, if necessary, as a sustainable backup.
Cycling tour along the smart green heating network, its sources and some special connected locations. Meet at the head office car park Telefoonweg 34, 6713 GC Ede (behind the yellow fence). Bring your own bike!
REGISTER A PROJECT
Companies that use biomass or bio raw materials can also register. A good time to put your project in the spotlight. You can register via https://www.daarkrijgjeenergievan.nl/open-energiedag or send an email to communicatie@nvde.nl for more information.
