“If you let green waste rot, methane gas and CO2 are released. You want to prevent that, so you find a useful use for it. But you can no longer make planks or paper from branches with leaves, needles or bark. That's why we turn that into our central energy. No tree is cut down for us and we do not import anything from America or Latvia. Everything comes from a radius of 100 kilometers around Cuijk. Thanks to the heat we supply, companies can save an enormous amount of gas. Biomass thus makes a major contribution to sustainability. I think so with all my heart.”
