Who is behind Biomass Facts?
Biomass Facts is an initiative of companies and organizations active in the world of biomass to provide an honest view of the possibilities that biomass offers for, among other things, producing sustainable products and achieving our climate goals. This exciting market is characterized by a high degree of changes in legislation and regulations, innovations and a broad spectrum of possible products and applications. Sustainable use of raw materials is the basis for everything these companies and organizations stand for. Reuse of residual flows from agriculture, waste collection and industry, preserving the biodiversity of forests and agriculture, the use of woody biomass or the cultivation of special crops for industry, must never be at the expense of nature, animals and food supplies.
This campaign was started with the support of 18 companies and organizations with the aim of providing more clarity in discussions about biomass. By creating one location where all information can be found, relevant discussions, current topics or the most pressing questions can be answered immediately. However, we are only at the beginning and could really use support for our campaign.
